Does anyone here have any body art that they would like to tell the group about? This can include any piercings or tattoos. Body modification is such a wonderful and spiritual thing that I feel it deserves to be mentioned.

I don't yet, but I love body modification of all sorts, especially tattoos. And scarification, depending on how well it's done.

I have the Goddess Sekhmet on the back of on shoulder. She was totally done for spiritual reasons. Half her face is lioness, half is human. I adore it, and had it done in red, which means that if I don't renew it soon, it may fade too much more to be seen well enough to redo it. It was done about 6 yrs ago and we figured the life of the ink to be about 10 yrs...
I also have a merman on my other side of my back. I will show you Lady M, next meeting. He's pretty awesome. And technically not "done". my tattoo artist isn't happy with it yet and wants to work on it some more. lol I just haven't been out there to do it.
I have a 3rd, but it's totally one of those "silly" tattoos. It's from my days of running the bellydance troupe, and it's on the side of one knee.
I'm also going to lightly gauge my earring holes. I don't want those huge lobes with huge holes in them. I just want to go to a 12g or so. But I'm having a hard time getting my gaugers in. lol

Very cool, guys! I have an ankh with a rose on my neck and a dragonfly on my ankle (although I want to either get it redone or turned into a butterfly because I'm not happy with it). I plan to get a mermaid one day, Habibidancer. I also plan to get a triple moon yin yang. I'll show you guys the design at the coming meeting. I also just got permanent makeup (eyeliner) done the other day. Other than that, I have an industrial piercing and a belly ring. I used to have a labret, tongue, and nose, but I had to take them all out for various reasons. I plan to get a lip piercing again, though.

I'm going to have a full back tattoo of a roman battlefield, Celtic bracelet tattoos with "Umbra" on the left and "Lupus" on the right with the knots connecting them. My family Crest, hawk and moon, paw prints on my chest. A large cat eating a spoon (long story on that one) a raven weaving yarn. Finish my celtic cross, and also a pentagram that I have designed. I'm sure I've missed a few but lol can't currently think of all of them yea.... kinda a lot of tattoos I have planned heh

Lol you sound a lot like me, Afadon. I plan to get so many different tattoos. I really like your wolf. I've been thinking about getting a tiger lately since it seems to be my spirit animal. I just don't know what kind of design or where it should go on my body.

As off beat as it sounds, I'm definitely planning on getting a large octopus tattoo...
And Lady Motevia, did getting the permanent makeup hurt? I've always just thought of it as being a kind of painful thing.

Yeah I would be afraid of them being that close to my eye.

Yes, it definitely hurt. She used a numbing cream, but that did wear off after a little while. It took a little over an hour to do. I have to go back in a couple weeks to get it touched up (it's just part of the service). Since the swelling's gone down, it's no longer as thick on the bottom as I would like. Otherwise, I absolutely love it.

I have several pieces of ink on my body! I can't wait to have my baby so I can get more. My left ankle is a floral design with Serenity for my daughter I miscarried. I have my lower back done in Ancient Egyptian from the Goddess Basket Mai, Cartouche of my name, The Eye of Ra, and a Lotus with Ankh, I have been in love with AE art since I was little and have no idea why but it calls to me.
On my upper back I have fairy children that look like my kids sitting on mushrooms. One is a boy with dragonfly wings and the girl with butterfly wings. I currently have a tribal crescent moon between them but it will be getting covered up to blend together with the fairies. I have two tribal heart designs that have been ruined by the beauty of pregnancy on my lower stomach. On my arms left I have Dream (for remembering to see whatever I want my future to hold )and the triple goddess moons. Right I have Believe ( for believing anything can come true)and a tribal upper arm cuff with a bear paw I got that for my grandpa for being the symbol of strength in my family.
I am trying to design my wiccan tattoo but having issues coming up with something I like I know I want the 8 words of the rede in it. Also am trying to design my half sleeves that show my art and military loves too.

That's all so awesome, Moonfyre! I would love to see some pictures. One thing I'd love to do but I know would hurt like hell is a slave anklet pointed down to my toe. Then again, I have my eye makeup and the back of my neck tattooed, so I guess it wouldn't be that painful compared to those! lol

Ok, I found a picture of my Sekhmet tattoo taken shortly after I got it, so it's at it's best. and here's my merman... can't remember if this is what it looks like most recently though. I think I've had work done on it since this picture... but not enough to change it significantly.
