In case any of you don't know, this weekend is Apple Fest in LeClaire. It started yesterday and it's going on until tomorrow afternoon. There are always all sorts of shops and sales and stuff. It's a lot of fun. I'm going to be going tomorrow, but I might have to go alone since the baby is sick. If anyone wants more info, here's the link: www.visitleclaire.com/events.html. There's also usually a blow-up jumper for kids. I believe today the LeClaire library is also having a little book sale. I don't know what the events are tomorrow, though.

I ended up not going, either. Sargon and the baby got me sick, so I just wasn't feeling up to it.

Thanks. It really sucks being so sick. Just trying to get the baby to breathe at night is a challenge in itself. And since she's too young to blow her nose, she drips everywhere. She thinks it's a funny game, though, when I wipe her nose. I've just been pumping myself full of vitamin C so I get it and she gets some in my breastmilk.

I should have thought of this before! I bought this when Kevin was a baby (he was in the hospital at 9wks for pneumonia that developed after a bad cold) www.nosefrida.com/it works so well that I even used it on myself a couple times. LOL It's not expensive either.

Super cool! I'll have to order one. My daughter tolerates aspirators, but I feel so guilty sticking one up her nose.
