October is here!

normally I'm not a downer type but I have found that no one comes to my son's birthday parties when we invite them. They are too busy with their halloween adventures. There's always something going on. 3 yrs in a row now, he's had none of his little friends at his parties, because people are doing family halloween stuff.

This year we're moving his party to the first saturday in november, in the hopes of having a real party for him and having his friends actually show up.

Awww! That's so sad! My mom said that it was like that for her birthdays, too, since everyone was busy doing family Christmas stuff. Give your son a hug for me!

Also, I forgot to mention that my mom's sister is a Halloween baby. From what I understand, her birthdays weren't all that enjoyable, either, for the same reason that Habibidancer said.

Mines on the 13th so it's not to bad it's early enough, but I havn't had a party since I was little.
