Hello everyone. My name is Daphne & I will be moving to the Quad Cities in about a month. I have been practicing what I term traditional witchcraft for over 15 years now. I have tried solitary paths & I prefer a consistent circle of family to practice with. I wanted to begin to reach out to the pagan community & begin making connections. I was dedicated to the same coven for nearly 10 years but with them in Louisiana, the travel time will be a killer for rituals. If anyone has any questions for me please feel free to ask. I look forward to meeting everyone. Blessed Be!

Thank you for the welcomes. I have many ?'s about the area & how many of us are in the area. Like I said in my post, I prefer to be in circles rather than practice solitary. Who leads the circles? Are they established covens or open circles? How often do they come together? These are the ?'s plaguing me right now. Thanks everyone.

Hi, Katiara, and welcome to the group! As you probably noticed, we're not too active of a group right now. We're taking a little break until the holidays are over and hopefully we'll be able to get meetings going again. We don't do circles or anything since so many of us are solitary practitioners. There are some covens in the area, but many of them are closed. In fact, I have yet to find one that isn't already full. Best of luck with your search. I hope you find what you're looking for.
