The other day, I was looking at handmade rune sets on Etsy and I came across this beautiful sugarberry set. Despite the fact that I don't know much about this tree, I felt compelled to purchase it. From what I found on the tree, it's also known as a Southern Hackberry- which some say is a type of elm. However, I can't find much information on it. Has anyone here studied different magickal properties of wood? I've found so many different (conflicting) things on elm, but not a single mention of sugarberry specifically.
