Does anyone read tarot? or use any sort of deck for divination, reading, etc? I started out with Robin Wood's deck. Her deck harks back to some of the original imagery but her personal style of illustration really works with me. It has a touch of art nouveau and I love it. I also work with a deck called the Ancient Egyptian tarot by Clive Barrett. It is a newer acquisition that I got a few years ago and it really resonates with me. I mentioned before I use the Faerie Oracle deck by Brian Froud. AWESOME deck. I sometimes just draw one card for the day. Or I will turn to that deck if I can't find the answers elsewhere. I have the Goddess Tarot by Kris Waldherr too. I only use the cards when I am setting up an altar to a particular Goddess, or trying to learn more about one, or otherwise connect to Goddess. Even though I don't use it much, I can't bear to part with it. I get my decks from www.tarotgarden.com/, because I know one of the owners. She lives in Iowa (though I think her business partner may not) and is a collector of tarot decks. I go to science fiction conventions and so does she, and sometimes she sets up a table to vend. When she does, I usually end up taking home a deck. Or, if she doesn't, I can usually contact her prior to seeing her and she can have a deck I am interested in handy for me to check out before I buy it.

I used to have a tarot deck but I can't remember what kind. But I did enjoy using it.

lol
I haven't seen that one before. which means nothing because I try to NOT look at decks if I can help it. I'm too likely to buy what I don't need.

I have had 2 different Ancient Egyptian decks I used the most. Also just a standard starter deck from a book store. I don't have any decks anymore but am wanting to get some soon.

I have an original Rider-Waite deck, and one other that's set up like a Rider-Waite, but with different artwork (and with the different artwork, comes slight changes in the meaning for me). I still haven't gotten the hang of tarot, though... haha.

Have too many decks, lol. I have 3 different faery decks, I have an Osho oracle deck, the Druid Animal Deck as well as the Druid Herbal deck, and a few others.
Which do you all like to use more; Tarot decks or Oracle decks?

Oracle decks confuse me now because I've developed a sort of tarot-mindset.

quick answers or when I want to focus more tightly on something I will go for oracle decks. If I want a broad overview (getting a bigger picture like history/influences/etc) long answer, I go for tarot.
