What with this month's contest, I noticed that there are quite a few poets and artists here! I thought it would be nice to have a place for everyone to share things they have created pertaining to their particular path. Today I wrote a poem for the Goddess:
GAIA She who lives in the willow, she who held me When he would and would not. She who with earth Smeared a star on my brow, to make me Child, maiden, mother. The Lady in the lake, the one Whose ground I trod in my upset, Reciting words that bloomed Like blood in water. What does she have to do with me, Scaring birds into flight? She touches me And is me.

Okay, this is something I wrote awhile back. It's a poem. Mmmyup.
Memoir
like a leaf
curled over the paper
a web of viens and skin
pen between crackling knuckles
ghosted wind winding ink
between lines of blue and red
of smirks and stargazing
shaking in the summer air
fading into fall
and everything ends
it sang on repeat
as I curled up over my notebook
crumbling into shards on impact
desperate to blow away
before the winter snow danced down
buried underneath the crystalline canvas.

This is something I wrote years ago. I just recently posted it on my Facebook BoS page. I hope you all like it. InitiationUnder the full moon You hear the siren song. In the land of magick Is where you belong. A flicker of light And a flutter of wings Dancing under the stars To the Goddess she sings. Approach her with caution In love and in light. Her fae in the trees Will grant you the Sight. Keep open your heart, For you're never alone. So silently she calls To bring you back home.
