Hi, everyone. I could really use some help here. My husband has recently been attacked at work and both of us are fearful of it happening again, and possibly with him ending up losing his job. Basically, a new female coworker has wrongly accused him of sexual harassment. Tony has been nothing but friendly towards this woman in an attempt to engage in conversation with a hearty "hello". Before this incident occurred, she has completely snubbed him like you'd think he had the plague or something. So one day when he was hanging out with his friends joking around at break, she just happened to be close enough to see him make a finger gesture of a "sexual" nature that was in no way directed towards her. Still, she filed a complaint weeks after the incident.
I'll admit- my first thought was to cast a spell on her for revenge for this, but I quickly got over that. Now my desire is to simply cast a spell to protect him, as well as my family. If he loses his job over something as stupid as this, our family is in danger. This woman used to sit at a desk right next to my husband and her filing this false claim made them both relocate to other areas- which means that she now sits next to her friends. I have reason to believe that this may have been her intention from the start and was just looking for any reason to claim sexual harassment and get him in trouble.
I don't want to hurt this woman (ok, a part of me does but it's being suppressed). But I do need a means in which to protect my husband from her and his boss (who is not taking this investigation neutrally). Right now my husband is walking on egg shells until we can find him a new job. Until then, I need a way in which to protect him. If anyone has any advice on how to go about this spell or the tools or time of day that would be best to use, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks, everyone!

I don't think I've ever done protection against a person. But for protection against negativity of any kind, I visulize myself surrounded by white light that nothing that means me harm may enter,

Protection spells are easy to find and cast, you probably have several in the books you showed us at the last meeting. Cast them, but also cast some magic for finding a new job and focus on that!!! The hard truth is that your hubby is probably not going to come out of this with a happy ending. He might keep his job but it might be hell from now on. Companies are terrified of sexual harrassment suits and will find against an employee that has been charged with it even if there is no evidence or he has witnesses on his side! I've seen this so many times. What does your hubby do, or rather, would any decent job work for him? Because Per Mar has been hiring (they are almost always hiring) but tell him to apply for the dispatch office. 2nd shift sucks but it's a place to start and it starts at $10ish an hour (with some benefits!). If he does well, raises are good. If he's interested, get on it right away! there have been lots of transfers and such but the openings will only be open so long and he might be too late if he waits to see what happens at his current job.

Thank you so much, Habibidancer! He's always worked 2nd shift, so that doesn't matter to him. Right now he's working at APAC with "saves" for Sirius/XM radio. People call in to cancel their accounts and his job is to give them deals so they don't. I will definitely look into Per Mar when he gets home in a few minutes. He has his associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, but no one around here wants to hire someone who doesn't either have a bachelor's or more office experience than he does. So it's been a little difficult to find him a job. I think a spell to find him something new is probably a better idea than just a protection spell. APAC promised him all sorts of benefits when he first started there and now they do everything in their power to prevent people from getting these bonuses- even if you've worked there for a year or longer. It's just a really bad place.

Oh yea? Man, it sounded so great at first! Promising all these bonuses. "Yea, you can make upwards of $1600/month extra!" Then they monitor your calls and grade your progress in a point system to knock points off of you for anything they can. This one guy Tony works with missed his bonus this month by ONE point. That was about $1400 that he now doesn't get. And they also said that after training, he would get $10.50/hour. Instead, he's still making the original $8.50 he started with. I honestly think he was better off working at Qdoba.

Probably, it's very rigged, they say you make bonus and such but the only ones that do only take the calls they want they hang up on cancel calls. No one i knew there got a bonus.

Well Per Mar isn't perfect and almost every male person I've ever met has worked there (usually as a guard) at some point. But for those willing to consider it as a possible long term job (instead of a temp job like most guards do), someone can do fairly well. my hubby has worked there 6 years this second time... he worked there for 2 yrs then went somewhere else and when that other job didn't pan out, Per Mar hired him back again in an instant. There are the usual stresses of any job, but if you show up on time and don't have attendance issues and do the job pretty well you are sure to get your raises. James has never missed a raise. He's been "promoted" to trainer for his shift (3rd) and now has the seniority to be considered for shift supervisor or the other back-up supervisor position, should they open up.
Also, people frequently promote or transfer from the dispatch office to other offices, so if dispatch doesn't suit him long term, if he is patient he can apply for transfers. That's why they are 4 people (or more) short on 2nd shift, they all are transferring out.

oh, and as for benefits at Per Mar... we do have health insurance. We have a premium but there are a couple levels to choose from. There's also opt-in 401k and some other stuff. paid sick leave, paid vacation starts at 1 week for the first several years then you get 2 weeks after a certain point. James is counting down to 3 weeks but that's a few years out yet. in this economy, it's a pretty good job for folks that can't flash a bachelors degree.

Wow, that does sound pretty sweet. We do have health insurance now, but it's the worst I've ever seen. My prescription without insurance is $92 for a 30-day supply and he's paying over $100/month for our insurance. Then that insurance only pays $30 of my prescription. So instead of paying $92/month, we're actually paying $160! What's the use of even having it? It doesn't even pay for doctor visits unless you've met your premium (and then it's $50 copay after that). He doesn't get paid vacations or paid sick leave or anything like that. Also, today when he was talking on the phone with me during his break, he found a dead baby bunny. He and I both take that as a sign to gtfo of there. We're going to work on his resume tonight and then hit Per Mar tomorrow so he can apply in person. I know it's not good for any of us if he stays at APAC.

well we are paying a significant monthly payment for the insurance. I don't remember what it was... but like I said, there are different levels, so you can choose how much you pay and how much is covered. It's not fabulous (like my insurance when I worked for the city) but it's better than nothing at all.
Good luck! I hope he finds something that's better, whether it's per mar or something else!

Good news! He got a call from AT&T with instructions to call them back about a job. It's not the best, but it's still better than APAC. At least we've actually heard of people there getting real bonuses. *Fingers crossed*

Habibidancer, I wanted to let you know that Tony (Sargon) had an interview with Per Mar this morning. They said that he should be getting a call within 5 days after they run a background check. So I hope that's a good sign. On the phone they let him choose 2nd or 3rd shift that he'd prefer for the dispatcher position. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed! It would be over $2 more/hour than what he's getting right now and they did mention a raise after a year. It was kind of surprising because the other day we were applying for jobs for him and I told him to check his email. Turns out he had gotten an email from Per Mar a few days before that, even though he had applied right after you told us to do so. Then he filled out a questionnaire that day he saw the email and then less than an hour later he got a call for an interview. I'm praying this works out!
