I just wanted to share some information with you guys. One of the funnest things about being a Pagan or Witch is being able to express your individuality with jewelry. We all know that jewelry doesn't make the witch, but who doesn't like to wear a symbol of their personal faith? Whether you follow an Egyptian, Celtic, Greek, Norse, or even a combination of paths. One place that I used to always shop is www.abaxion.com. I highly recommend this website. They have so many things to choose from that are difficult to find anywhere else. Their prices can be a little steep sometimes, but usually they have really good deals. Recently I just discovered that a lot of people sell handmade items on Etsy.com. If handmade items are more your thing, I would say to go here. I just bought a necklace last night from Crone's Magical Crafts. This lady is based in Canada and she has really good prices for handmade stuff. This site works a little like eBay, but with better customer service. You can talk directly to the sellers and ask questions. Of course, you can find pretty much anything on Etsy. It's super cool. I hope these sites help!

I love jewelry too. But the funds for my frivolous desires are getting low so I'm considering making more of my own pagan jewelry. Fortunately, I have a bunch of pendants already, and a bunch of semi-precious beads, and am thinking about just making beaded necklaces with the pendants I already have. but... if I find a non-cheap looking pentacle with an egyptian symbol like an ankh on it, I might buy that. I haven't been able to find one.

I have to be really careful because I've seen so many great pendants, I just want to buy them all because they all have very specific meanings. I'm trying to stick with the two that I have: a simple pentagram with the maiden, mother, and crone inscribed on it, and also a pendant of Artemis sitting on the crescent moon.

hey all, I went to hobby lobby today, just wandering around the store (it's so easy to kill a few hours there). Anyway, I happened down the aisle that had the clays, including polymer clay, modeling clay and air dry clay. Anyway, I found a flexible clay mold called "art doll faces". It happens to be the same faces that I'd seen made out of clay at the rock and gem show at putnam earlier this year. I kind of thought they looked like goddess faces... kind of in a primative way. Anyway, I bought the mold and some air dry clay in a terra cotta color and played a little with it. too fun!
I'm digging playing with the clay. I wish I could afford silver clay! ever heard of that? it's a moldable, sculpt-able clay made out of silver, after you fire it the "clay" base is gone and leaves only the shaped silver behind! oh what we could make with that... sigh...

I keep trying to find that stuff it is awsome. I took a jewelery and metals class in high school and made a ring the long way with wax then form the mold melt the wax out then put the metal in. The clay would be so much easier.

That sounds like a lot of fun, Habibidancer! I wonder if that's how crafters usually made silver pieces. I've been wondering for a while how I might be able to make my own pentacle. That silver clay just sounds too cool!
